臭氧是强氧化剂,用作氯(饮用水消毒中的生物灭杀剂)的替代品。臭氧能用作去除异味,脱色,并且能控制海藻和其他水生生物的生长。DDPD方法参考:CHEMetrics开发DDPD是DPD试剂的甲基替代产物。在分析之前要在样品中加入A-7400活化剂溶液(碘化钾)。臭氧同碘化物反应产生碘。然后碘同试剂反应产生一种紫色物质。多种游离的卤素和卤化剂能在试剂中显色。样品中如果含有低于25ppm的铬酸盐将不会影响测量结果。测量结果用ppmO3表示。靛蓝法参考:Rader H.,J.
